CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS: Hosting a pilot study for validation of the modelling tool to support the decision making process for surveillance and vector control of dengue, chikungunya and Zika virus infection in Europe.

We are planning to do a fourth pilot study in 2019 as part of the project “Development of a modelling tool to support the decision making process for surveillance and vector control of dengue, chikungunya and Zika virus infection in Europe”. For this, we are looking for a European country to host this pilot study.

Community Engagement and vector control in the Carribean

The Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have, as of 2017 published a guideline document on "Community Engagement and vector control in the Carribean". As AIM-COST is looking to share a number of guidelines with regards to the surveillance and control of invasive Aedes spp. It is useful to consider existing guidelines on similar subjects such as the CARPHA document linked below.
