Short Bio:
Sophie Vanwambeke obtained her PhD in 2005 in UCL. She was a post-doc in the FP6 EDEN project and a partner in the FP7 EDENext. She has been a professor in UCLouvain since 2007. She is a medical geographer with a broad interest in how human-environment interactions shape health, with a primary focus on vector-borne and zoonotic diseases and experience with a range of pathogens, vectors and study regions.
